This natural alternative to butter contains no hydrogenated fats and no other animal or vegetable fats; just Rice Bran Oil and natural ingredients. It melts, cooks and tastes like butter, so it’s great on toast or bread and can be used or healthy sauté dishes or baking.
Nutritionally balanced and versatile, Alfa One Rice Bran Oil is naturally light and clean tasting. It contains the plant sterol oryzanol which has been shown to help the body reduce cholesterol absorption. It’s high in antioxidants such as vitamin E and high in ‘good’ mono and polyunsaturated fats. With a high smoke point (250oC), it’s an excellent culinary oil and also makes an ideal base for a healthy spread.
